In my practice, I approach each person with warmth and unconditional acceptance regardless of what ails or heals you. I believe that therapy is not only beneficial to help us cope with our suffering but is also highly effective for our personal growth during the moments when we feel secure and joyful.

By nature, I am a grounded person, who will approach our time together with honor, humor, and—above all—hope. I incorporate holistic approaches to psychotherapy, addressing mind, body, and spirit as a means of processing what feels most poignant to you during our time together. Ultimately, our work is directed by your needs.

While I utilize both client-centered and collaborative approaches to healing, I specialize in using an eclectic set of frameworks and interventions for treatment.

I have education and extensive training in using transpersonal, humanistic, existential, psychodynamic, and Jungian frameworks. I also have expertise in body-oriented interventions, such as somatic process work and somatic trauma recovery.  As a trained clinician in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), I incorporate this modality based on your interests & specific needs. Gestalt techniques and Parts Work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and harm reduction are also tools I use in treatment. Based on your interests, I also incorporate creative expression, such as narrative therapy and art therapy based techniques. Generally, I find mindfulness practices, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP), to be highly effective.

It is this dynamic approach to therapy that allows me to address myriad issues and assists in creating meaning, fulfillment, and purpose in the lives of my clients.

Through the years, I have treated a wide range of issues. View a list of my specialties.
